Drug Screen Collector (Male)

Pay: $10.00 Per Hour to $12.00 Per Hour
Duration/Usual Hours Per Weekstrong>: Part-Time, 8 to 20 Hours Per Week Shift
Work Days: First Shift. Flexible Schedule. 2 – 4 days /week from 6:30 am – 10:30 am

Experience / Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college level course work in business administration preferred
  • Secretarial functions preferred.
  • One year of experience in office setting preferred; education and strong background in customer service related field may be substituted for this.
  • Pre-employment drug screening required.

Abilities, Knowledge, Skills
  • Knowledge of general office procedures and secretarial skills. Computer literacy to include basic skills in e-mail communication and word processing.
  • Proficiency with office equipment including, but not limited to, fax machines, scanners, and photocopy machines.
  • Excellent telephone and verbal communication skills required.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Job

Performs general office and clerical duties required to support functions of the assigned location(s).

Principle Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Accompanies clients from the waiting room back to the drug testing location.
  2. Fills out all paperwork and logs associated with the client’s drug test.
  3. Ensures that clients do not take anything into the drug testing room with them.
  4. Observes the client during drug screens to ensure the integrity of the specimen.
  5. Reports any notable information to the probation officer or appropriate party.
  6. Assists with entering drug tests results received into software system.
  7. Composes and types routine correspondence as assigned.
  8. Prepares specimens for shipping.
  9. Maintains inventory and assists with supply orders.
  10. Maintains positive working relationships with persons, agencies, and other units of the criminal justice system who come into contact with the Court Services organization.
  11. Courtroom testimony if called upon.
  12. Assesses on a continuous basis methods to improve service delivery.
  13. Performs special projects and responsible for successful completion of directives as specified by the Supervisor and Director.
  14. Daily cleaning of restrooms.
  15. Light housekeeping of office areas including vacumming, emptying trash, cleaning front door.
  16. Performs other job duties as assigned.
