Experience / Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; college level course work in business administration preferred
- Secretarial functions preferred.
- One year of experience in office setting preferred; education and strong background in customer service related field may be substituted for this.
- Pre-employment drug screening required.

Abilities, Knowledge, Skills
- Knowledge of general office procedures and secretarial skills. Computer literacy to include basic skills in e-mail communication and word processing.
- Proficiency with office equipment including, but not limited to, fax machines, scanners, and photocopy machines.
- Excellent telephone and verbal communication skills required.
Performs general office and clerical duties required to support functions of the assigned location(s).
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
- Accompanies clients from the waiting room back to the drug testing location.
- Fills out all paperwork and logs associated with the client’s drug test.
- Ensures that clients do not take anything into the drug testing room with them.
- Observes the client during drug screens to ensure the integrity of the specimen.
- Reports any notable information to the probation officer or appropriate party.
- Assists with entering drug tests results received into software system.
- Composes and types routine correspondence as assigned.
- Prepares specimens for shipping.
- Maintains inventory and assists with supply orders.
- Maintains positive working relationships with persons, agencies, and other units of the criminal justice system who come into contact with the Court Services organization.
- Courtroom testimony if called upon.
- Assesses on a continuous basis methods to improve service delivery.
- Performs special projects and responsible for successful completion of directives as specified by the Supervisor and Director.
- Daily cleaning of restrooms.
- Light housekeeping of office areas including vacumming, emptying trash, cleaning front door.
- Performs other job duties as assigned.
